The installation of a new boiler can be a huge investment, but it is very often a great one. What will happen during the installation?
The installation of your boiler could be as simple as a like for like replacement with very little additional plumbing work to be done. In this case your boiler cold be replaced with a few short hours. If you choose to replace your entire system (perhaps if you are switching to a combi boiler?) it could take a day or longer. Please consider the following:
- Be prepared for having no heating during the time of installation
- Your water and electrics may also be switched off for periods of time – prepare with containers of water if necessary and charge up your devices in advance.
- Replacing a boiler can sometimes be noisy – if you work from home be prepared for this.
- Your plumber will need access to your room radiators – so clear the areas around them in advance.
What are the benefits of a new boiler?
